Summer Infant Day & Night Handheld Color Video Monitor Review
I bought this video monitor right when my baby was about 5 months old and we were moving her into her own room. She had started rolling over and would end up on her stomach and cry because she couldn’t get back on her back. This monitor allowed us to watch her so that we could tell when she needed us to come in and help her. Likewise, when she was crying in her sleep, I could easily see that on the monitor and I wouldn’t barge into her room and wake her up by accident. The reception is great. I don’t have much interference at all, even with a 900 MHz phone in the house. The night feature works great too.

This monitor is fantastic. The picture is very clear, even in the dark, and the sound is super sensitive. The battery lasts a long time, and after almost 2 years of daily use it is still working perfect and we have had zero problems with it. Every once in a while we’ll get a tad bit of static, but the house is pretty big, so it’s expected. This was definitely worth the money.

I love the idea of being able to see my baby and it ha kept me from running into her room on several occasions because I can see that she is sleeping, but I am now looking for a different brand because this one has so much feed back I have a hard time falling asleep and it wakes me up in the middle of the night.

Love this product. We use it all the time and works great! Sometimes you get a little disturbance but overall just perfect. We use it regularly when we are sitting in our home theater, so I like that the red lights flash if the baby is crying so you notice even if you can’t hear the sound. Night vision works great too!

I had this product for a little over a week now. The color is great during the day and the night vision is excellent even with a pitch dark room. I purchased this item to monitor for when my little buddy flips over he can’t roll back yet. This helps me out big time. I can even hear the baby breathing. I gave this a 4 rating due to a low level hum that can be annoying at night when its really quiet and sitting on my night table. During the day its not bad because of life other noises. If the buzz was not there it would be a perfect rating.
